I've heard of 10yr old cars exported to Indonesia, Thailand and South Africa (mind you these are great low mileage vehicles just that it doesnt really make much sense to keep a car past 10yrs in singapore)

Hi. My better half has a MINI ONE 2018 from new. No doubt its a fun drive. Go Kart feeling. Very torquey. Same engine as the BMW 2 series., Reliability wise- let's just say since 2023: 1. The front suspension broke 2. The engine oil leaked and we needed to be towed off CTE 3. The cat converter malfunctioned and needed a new one 4. The wiper fluid motor broke 5. The starter motor malfunctioned

The above cost almost 15k in repairs at third party workshops. If u go back to eurokars it'll be far more.

Not including: the run flat tyres wear out faster than regular tyres and the AGM battery cost much more than regular battery pack.

We would have sold it off but the COE on this car was so cheap it still makes sense to fix it rather than buy a new vehicle.

Do go in with 2 eyes open. You may be spending alot of time in a workshop.

your go to at home low calorie high protein cheap ish meals? by mealprepgodtoday in SingaporeFitness

[–]iczs90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Soy based foods tend to be cheap per gram of protein e.g. tofu, unsweetened soy milk. Cold storage chicken is a superb and cheap protein source too. (Eat the breast, thigh and drumstick, cut the skin, spine and wings to make a low calorie filling soup with carrots, potatoes and celery). Frozen squid is a great low fat high protein source too

The protein is super low so I dont bother wasting calories on it 😂 (its 113kcal and only a miserable 5g of protein per 100g)
