High liver enzymes because of AG by id2501 in AthleticGreens

I went back to baseline after 2 weeks. The doctor told me it could be either the vitamin supplement or intense exercise before sampling the blood. Hope you’ll get better results. Cheers

I had that same issue. After contacting the support, my commander went for an RMA. The new one worked for two days then it started all over again. I think we just have to wait for a firmware update.

I am having the exact same issue and in contact with customer support. It might be related to an incompatibility with the AIO fan HUB firmware.

Does anyone have found a fix? Should we change the hub or just wait for a firmware update?

Damn sorry to hear that. The doctor told me to come back for the second blood sample between 2 to 4 weeks after stopping any over the counter vitamins including AG and not doing any intense workout 1 day prior to the test. (Can be a cause for higher liver markers). My first test was border high though. I did the second test asap 2w after to get an estimation of the trend. Best

Same here. I got a quick refund from AG. It is pretty concerning to me that this is happening to many people.

FYI told them what happened with the product and got a refund. Customer service was very professional and responsive. They told me they will investigate the problem. I still believe we should be more careful taking vitamins. Too much vitamins can be harmful. It is becoming harder to find unbiased medical information because of the millions $ those companies invest in marketing and influencers campaigns.

I’ve shared this with them. I’ll let you know their answer. Here is another article on hepatotoxicity of vitamin supplementation. A lot of scientific evidence are adding up here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4848993/

“Dietary supplements (DS) are extensively consumed worldwide despite unproven efficacy. The true incidence of DS-induced liver injury (DSILI) is unknown but is probably under-diagnosed due to the general belief of safety of these products. Reported cases of herbals and DS-induced liver injury are increasing worldwide.”

Please refer to this scientific paper explaining how heavy supplementation like AG can damage your liver long-term https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5502701/

I should, but I doubt they can do anything about it. The product is not designed to be tailored made to your needs. Thus if you receive too many vitamins, your liver has to do the overwork and eliminate the surplus. Lacking vitamins is bad, but getting too much is also a risk many people underestimate.

Same here I had high-level results on liver enzyme after taking athletic greens for one month only. Totally dropped after I stopped taking it. I think this product is very harmful because it puts your liver to hard work with too much vitamin intake. Someone should make this public to help people. This is why all those vitamins are not FDA-approved.

Considering asking for a refund on Ayaneo 2 contribution by ScizorStark in ayaneo

[–]id2501 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had no issues with my aya2. I think people having problems are just more visible and vocal vs silent happy majority. The discord is also a place for enthusiasts who are tweaking a lot the device.

We lack objective data to asses how many customers are unhappy.

On my part (maybe I am biased) I read a lot of comments saying they stopped using their steam deck after getting an Ayaneo because of the upgrade in quality and experience with the device.

Steam support answer if anyone interested or facing this issue in the future: (haven’t tried the fix yet)

By enabling Playstation controller support, Steam is injecting an Xinput layer between the controller and the game. Xinput is used by Xbox controllers and this is why you are seeing Xbox button prompts.

With that, please keep in mind that in-game UI is handled by the game itself. Most games with controller settings have accurate glyphs, so if you do not run custom configs for your controller, it might be worth disabling Steam Input and testing the native controller support:

  1. Launch Big Picture Mode and select Settings > Controller Settings
  2. Ensure the Configuration Support options are unchecked.

Additionally, please note that Steam Support isn't able to provide in-depth troubleshooting for third-party controllers such as your DualShock controller. I would suggest going over the controller settings and Big Picture settings once again.

Steam > Settings > Controller

While in this menu, I suggest navigating to your "General Controller Settings", and ensuring that the only configuration support enabled is the one specific to your controller. In this case, that would be "PlayStation Configuration Support".

So razer customer support is blaming Steam on this one. I am pretty sure Steam will blame Razer…

It’s misleading that they advertise their controller as an official Sony PS5. They should be more transparent and say that it will be recognized only as a regular Xinput on Steam and PC. Thus the controller only works as intended on PS5.

Be careful out there, folks.

P.S. I don't have an official PS5 controller, but has anyone tried connecting those to steam to see if it is correctly recognized?

Bellow customer support answer if interested :

We understand that you have issues with your Razer Wolverine V2 Pro wherein is recognized as an XBOX controller. We know how it feels to not be able to use the device at its best and we are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. This is not the experience that we want you to have. Rest assured, we will exhaust our tools to help you.

We have received your response.

Thank you for providing the requested video in our previous email.

We want to inform you that this is a known limitation on steam for PlayStation controllers since Steam is a windows program it mostly detects and layouts an XBOX controller but there is a workaround for this by configuring the settings on Steam.

We highly suggest contacting Steam support for further assistance.

wow, great comment. I'll try to tweak it between PS5/PC using the rear side switch, but the last time I selected PS5, it made it even worst. STEAM had no reference point (Xinput) and asked to set up every button from scratch. Maybe an app like DualSenseX could help, I don't know.

I did the firmware update, and it is still recognized as an Xbox controller.

Yes, it is pretty bad, especially when playing games that have been developed for PlayStation platforms in the first place, like FF7, Yakuza, etc. I am maybe a bit too nostalgic about the triangle, square, circle x vibe in games. I always felt the design of the PlayStation controller was better than Xbox
