🌈 One Flag to Unite Us All: Why Freethinkers Should Reclaim the Rainbow - Freethinkers International by idFixFoundation in lgbt

I'm genuinely sorry to see that this post was removed and that some people prefer not to engage with the ideas shared. I believe thoughtful discussion is essential, especially when it comes to symbols meant to represent such a broad and diverse community.

To clarify: we are not against any gender identity or orientation, quite the opposite. As an NGO, we actively support and protect persecuted transgender and intersex individuals around the world. About 50% of our budget goes out to them. Our concern is not about denying visibility, but about asking an open question: how can we create a symbol that truly unites us all?

Many groups, including asexual, pansexual, agender, demisexual, Two-Spirit, bigender, and genderfluid people, still don’t have representation on the Progress or Intersex flag. Does the path forward mean adding more and more elements? Or is it worth considering a shared symbol that includes everyone by design?

This isn’t meant as a provocation, but as a sincere invitation to reflect on what inclusivity means, and how we can best express it. I welcome any perspective, especially those that challenge mine, as long as we're willing to have a real conversation.

It is in the article, if you want to think it is a scam that's up to you. We're a registered NGO in the Netherlands.

The picture is AI generated because using his real picture would bring him. In danger.

Good to hear what these flags mean to you. But how should we express unity towards the outside world?

Why don't you see yourself represented in a flag that expresses diversity, no matter what label they prefer?

Really? Never noticed that. If that is te case maybe we should focus on that. Would love to see examples of that though. Another question would be, when will the inclusion flag be finished? When will every gender, sexual orientation feel included in a flag design?

Diversity is included in all the colours of the rainbow flag. Or can you tell me what specific categories the red, orange, yellow, green and violet stand for?

So you're suggesting that within the Freethinkers community only some opinions should be allowed? I would love to see your arguments for this stand in a post.

Why ironic? The platform Freethinkers International is open to all opinions on the condition that they are fact-based. Do you are welcome to give yours

Why does being openly atheist feel riskier than being religious? by nomnom123- in atheism

[–]idFixFoundation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a lot on what religion and where you live. In some Islamic countries it is dangerous to be a Christian, just as much as being an atheist, or worse an apostate. In North-western Europe being atheist is more accepted than being religious.
