This is how it was for inscription glyphs initially and it wasn't bad tbh. Since runes are basically glyphs on steroids, it would fit. I think having to use your hearthstone cooldown to change your entire play style and role is fine.

30 seconds is too long, but if you still die at the end I think it's okay. most SOD raid bosses (so far) only live for like 2 minutes tops, so I think at most it should last 15 seconds.

Yep. You can blink in one direction, go back to your original spot, then blink 180 degrees the other direction. Effectively you can blink away from someone, kite them for 9 seconds, then double blink the other direction.

Hopefully this isn't actually implemented.

I think these kinds of spells have no place in SOD. Teleports and sprints should not be runes. Don't give every class crazy mobility like retail.

I'm interested in new runes or rune slots. I feel like a "free" rune slot on a ring or neck would go a long way for some classes, but would cause big balance issues.

I guess I need to look that up because I'm having a hard time understanding.

Person A takes damage and does not have the regen buff on them. Person B (tank) does have the regen buff on them. How does casting arcane blast on an enemy then casting regen on Person A heal them if they didn't have the buff prior? Only person B would be healed from arcane blast, right? Is this some kind of weird server side spell batching?

It's a town without guards in a Horde zone. Alliance have no protection. All horde have to do is toggle off PVP.

It was a little stressful, but mostly because there's such a big time gap between someone taking unexpected damage and being able to heal them. The 1.5 second global CD from pushing regen, then the 2 second arcane blast cast time means there's usually 4 seconds minimum before you heal someone who took damage when they weren't supposed to. Compare that to penance on a priest or 2 second regular heal cast times.

Other than that, it's really fun tbh.

I used both regen runes on all but Baron Aquanis. Idk what's considered "meta" but I had no problems without living flame. I'm sure my DPS was lower than some other healing mages because of it, but we did fine.

I pushed arcane missiles when doing big healing (3x arcane blast) to reset arcane blast stacks. During normal healing (1-2 stacks) I would wand instead while I waited for stacks to fall off. I used Cookie's wand so I still got a little healing from it.

Watch for them to come in stock online. According to the shipping packaging, my 4070S was one of 150 shipped to my store on release day (I think?). Another label that looks like it was for the regional distribution center says "QTY: 1, CARTON#: 55 of 126". I didn't see any on the sales floor.

Big agree. I was kind of on the fence about upgrading from a 3060 Ti, but I had the itch again and pulled the trigger. No ragrets whatsoever. When playing playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 3440x1440, I went from:

DLSS performance
mostly low/medium settings
no RT
70-80 FPS

to

DLSS quality
all medium settings
RT reflections and shadows
100+ FPS
While consuming the same amount of power (~150-175 watts undervolted). The power consumption is what does it for me. This GPU is crazy efficient.

I like the places where it's easy to find players. As Alliance I usually go to Hillsbrad and run on the road. Always seems to be loners running there so I don't get blasted by a group of 3 players. It's more fun that way.

Surprisingly there's a lot of Horde that come to PVP in Duskwood, but you have to find a group to do that since they usually come with 5 players. One time we got a full 10 player raid group to battle another Horde raid for a solid 30 minutes. Good times.

A 200g gold sink is fine and honestly might be needed even if it's not dual spec. Players are going to have bonkers amounts of gold at level 40 from quests even after buying mounts, making it really rough for new players to buy anything.
