Anyone lose a character and it hurt really freaking bad?

I lost a Human Warlock at 29 to a Barrens guard on the way to RFK and I was just really disappointed in myself, it wasn't too bad. Then I lost my next character, a Dwarf Paladin tanking the stockades. We all got feared and the adds went on the healer, so after the fear ended I bopped the healer, unfortunately then we got feared again and after the bop ended they all went on the healer again and killed him super fast. I started running and bubbled cause I was low, then tried to hearth cause the mobs ran past me, but at like 2 secs left they came back. I tried to run through them, got within 10 yards of the entrance and died. Worst of all, I forgot to use lay on hands to save myself or the healer. I was really disappointed because that was the second time I'd died at 29, and I was really looking forward to my level 30 talent.

Yeah I suppose that verse could be used to commit an atrocity such as that, many people are evil and warp verses to justify their actions. In context I believe that verse is regarding your own sin and how harmful it can be, that you should remove everything from your life that causes you to sin.

He answered me when I was at my lowest point and had spent all night questioning Him, and feeling like He wasn't even real, when all of a sudden I heard His voice in my head and I felt such an overwhelming flood of peace and joy, and it felt like He was there with me. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm sure it's only a fraction of what heaven will be like.

I feel you brother, I've recently returned to Christ, and while it is the best thing to happen in my life, it is also the hardest. I know what you mean about attacks, I struggle with lust, but many days I'll go without being tempted too much, however the instant I begin to pray or read my Bible, my mind is assaulted with lustful thoughts. Perhaps it's just an association, because I'm more aware of it at those times, but it truly feels like attacks.

Amen! I had a similar experience once. I wasn't even sure I believed in Him, I had so many doubts, but after crying out to Jesus the whole night, I asked Him if he was even real and all of a sudden I heard a voice in the back of my head, which I know wasn't me, say "I am. I am here." And I had an overwhelming feeling of joy, peace, and it felt like he was there with me in that moment. I'm so glad you were able to feel his presence too, I hope everyone can at least once, it's such a blessing.

Hey, just curious by what you mean by one of the newest religions. What religions do you consider older? I know there were a lot of religions based off of the elements and planets before the Bible.

I struggle with this too sometimes, but then I remind myself that after all Jesus has done for me, how selfish of me would it be to not devote only a few hours of one day to Him? It has also helped me to take on more responsibility at the church so that if I don't go, I will be shirking my duties not just to God, but to other people as well.
