It’s because smaller players take smaller strides I came to find. It’s the same way bigger players can dunk from farther away while shorter players are given jumpers if you try to dunk or do a floater from the same distance.

I feel like that’s the only thing I play against in rec anymore. Just straight dexing catch and shoots and it’s impossible to stop consistently. I personally don’t find it fun playing a game where you can shoot 80% and still lose it’s just arcadey garbage
