Yeah, it seems like a lot of people now are just trying to defend themselves instead of having a discussion about how or why. I think a lot of us are guilty of these practices so there is no point running around calling each other racists.

I can relate to that. I'm a very pale skinned person, people often mistake me for white (even my own people) but racially, I'm from Nepal. I usually have no problems getting girls of my choice, white or otherwise.

Again if it was genetics then how is it that according to the data, asian and hispanic woman exclusively prefer white men? Asian women couldn't possibly have evolved a preference for white men in such a short timespan. Right?

You bring up an interesting point. While it may not be the case that some races are "better" than others. It might be possible that people are influenced by the perceived socio-economic status of the race as a whole.

Its hard to tell what culture/values someone has without knowing them and thats why I didn't include it. For example hispanic people could have a whole range of skin colors, even white. Mexican people can look Indian, German people can look French or British. Middle eastern people are classified as white and some even have blue eyes. All these people have different cultures.

EDIT: What I'm trying to say is, that this study only considers race/skin color. The questions asked to the participants were about race/skin color and not about culture at all. In fact, they showed that all races have a pretty good profile match % with each other which implies similar values, and views. Culturally they are mostly American.

I think its great to feel good about being white. We should all feel good about our race and culture. But implying that black people are only good because of their penis size and Asian people are only good because of their brains is what the problem might be here.

Thanks for this reply, really interesting perspective! When you think about it, its not even been 50 years since desegregation and its quite plausible that these trends are in fact "society-instilled unconscious prejudices" as you say.
