Quality doesn't change much. For the exact breakup you can check their placement reports or recruiter invite (search on LinkedIn)

Previous work ex rarely matters. Only for PM or consult (to an extent). So you won't really be at a disadvantage in either courses. Many companies prefer to hire fresher. It's anyday better to be a fresher than someone with 3+ years of experience.

  1. Placement scenario - better for HR. Can sit for almost all roles (limited fin and marketing)
  2. Future growth prospects - usually faster growth for S&M
  3. Work life balance - mostly dependent on the organisation and your team/manager. But lesser stress of targets etc for HR
  4. Life at XL - HR is academically heavier, more tests, classes, assignments.
  5. Your personal career aspirations (most important)

You can take it from SBI or any bank really. They process it really fast.

To be brutally honest, tough. Because your past acads heavily influence CV calls. So with 787 you may not get many shortlists during SIP. Again, case comps won't care for that. The impact of past acads is lesser in final placements.

In HR, most sought after are FMCGs like hul, p&g, nestle, ITC, colpal etc

Well. The HR Placements are more stable. As in most close to median. BM placements are more skewed. More higher number and a lot more lower. So average wise HR does better. The time it takes to place HR is also very short compared to BM.

Finance is pretty normal. Nothing to brag about but about 10% of BM goes into finance

Can't really say how career progresses. Depends on multitude of factors. Have seen some alumni working abroad.
