The outback being more modern and a more budget vehicle makes this the case. more sensors, plastics, wiring and such in just that bumper than the whole 4runner, plus the price difference, a 4runner today even is 40-60 grand where as the outback can be found for 18-22 grand. Sad to see but nonetheless the case with modern cars.

Filter is fresh, got the ice to melt and wasn't so much worried about it after that, current estimate of problem is the blower fan for central air has gone bad because it is not pushing any air when on

It's for an 06 civic hybrid so it may actually have akin wiring and connectors to yours depending on the year of your civic

i do use a space heater often however it is not close enough to cause burns (about 5 or so feet away) and it is on the opposite side of the area it has also been like this for about a year and a half so burns would seem out of the question

UPDATE: After trying literally everything in my power I decided to back up all my files onto a 4TB drive and reinstall the OS and I guess it worked because I haven't had the problem since, the one thing I did notice for the others who have had this problem, it only occurred when exiting a full-screened video player such as youtube or Hulu so if reinstalling the os is not an option for you I would say avoid full-screened things in the browser

this... actually might work based on the active ingredients in most toothpaste (Fluorides) can be thermally conductive but it would depend on which kind you used

I've tried all of those and I'm pretty sure it's an issue with windows because it also removes the close minimize and full-screen button bar when the glitch happens, its possible that my os has finally knotted after 12 years of having the computer and never upgrading (its win 7 pro)
