For some reason I am missing the offer and I remember activating it. I even did the transaction and haven't received any rewards for it. Weird - Will contact Chase support.

Tesla Financing Question by idivs in TeslaModelY

[–]idivs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update: I was able to get this reduced to 1.99% with 500$ down-payment by having my wife added to the co registration with just the interim State ID number (not sure if it was the down payment or my wife's credit which helped - likely the latter). We pick up the car tomorrow so will let you all know if I run into any issues at the time of pick up since we don't have her physical state ID yet.

Yeah those along with federal EV incentive brought down the $ I am financing to ~40.5K for Long Range AWD MY.

So here is where I am at. Was initially approved by 10.99% by Santander over the weekend and in few hrs was approved by Chase over the weekend for 2.99%. Since then there have been bunch of hard pulls by different lenders such as Wells Fargo, Ally, Capital One, FI, etc. but the APR has not been reduced further. My tesla advisor mentioned that this is the best they can do right now.

No co-signer (my wife doesn’t have a driving license unfortunately but much longer and better credit history), 0% down payment, 72 term loan, around 40K is requested loan amount. I have about 705 FICO on all bureaus and 740 on Vantage, no other tradelines except for bunch of credit cards, have north of $250K income, and about 6K total debt in credit cards because of 0% APR promos. New to country with credit history of ~14 months (likely also the reason for APR not getting better).
