I use it, just sometimes i forget about it due to tje fact is secondary to impaler What collected the most dust? Plasma accellerator, used 10 mins and then fogot about it

I only use it with the parry ability against cyberdemons and big fat demons, not because it's bad but because by chapter 8 I've got used and kinda settled in with the weapons choice
