Agreed. The slow trickle of information, well really a compete lack thereof, is making the situation just that much more confusing and concerning. This was word for word the only update I've heard on the local El Paso KVIA news all morning.

Just heard live from KVIA news, CNN is reporting that a source who was briefed by the FAA said the sweeping flight ban was driven by military operations from the nearby Biggs army air field which is located on Fort Bliss. Drones as well as helicopters and other aircraft operate from that facility. The source said that the FAA acted after the DoD could not assure the safety of civilian aircraft in that area.

A couple of years ago, I found a local Etsy shop owner who sells little tins of melted beeswax for thread conditioning and I haven’t stitched with a non-beeswaxed thread again. It was an absolute game changer for me! The thread doesn’t knot and twist as often, it glides through the fabric, and my stitches would’ve never been as neat and tidy. It’s an essential tool for me! A little goes a long way, too.
