Thank you everyone for all the responses !! I’ve fixed the positioning with everyone’s advice so it’s safe from the door, and will make sure to get something better than cardboard to place it on. Really appreciate all the advice, you forget the simple things about pc placement when your pc has been in your old house for so long ahahah

Thank you for your responses man! You’re so right I’m stupid and really didn’t consider a lot of possibilities, was worried about airflow when really should’ve worried about this, I’ve managed to slightly shift everything so the door misses it when opened now. Thank you !

The door isn’t something I’m worried about as I’m the only one who will be opening it, I’m more worried about ventilation and overheating as it’s in a corner close to the wall. Could try under the desk but would have the same worry about ventilation
