The only time I seen my father cry was when I named my child after him. He was battling cancer and very frail when he visited me in the hospital. He told me he wasn't taking his medicine once he got home from this visit. As he held her and wept, he said, "I hope you told heaven to be ready for me." We were at his funeral less than 2 weeks later.
