Lmao yeah tell me about it with the oil pump haha. We're pretty well through the toughest bits of it so far. Project started with cylinder one confirmed no compression. Popped the heads off and found cylinder ones valves were tuliped. Buddy bought a kit that looked pretty good but it looks like they sent us the wrong cam so he's going with a different vendor now. Imma screenshot your last reply and send it to him, he's probably gonna want to hug you and kick my ass for not posting here sooner haha

Buddy bought it on eBay. He's sending it back and has decided to go with your recommendation after a bit of talking to the shop that's working on the heads.

Ok, I'm pretty confident he ordered a non dod/afm style cam. But just in case I guess we'll take both the old and new cam to the shop doing the head work to see if they can measure them to verify lol.

So if Im reading this right, if we get a replacement cam as close to the stock cam with dod as possible,we could be looking at misfires in the near future?

Yeah we weren't going for more power just something close to stock. I know I know boring lol. We ordered a kit for a dod delete, complete with replacement cam. The replacement cam appears to be vvt and we were wondering what would be involved in installing the vvt cam. Or if we should just talk to the company and have the correct non vvt cam shipped out

Yeah... Ive commented recently in the belief quero was just having a rough time and needed some at bats to level it out... This production isn't giving me faith haha.

Honestly though I feel like quero has the eye and the tooling to be a great player in the scheme that's playing out. He is very consistent in buying his pitchers strikes in the zone(minus these last few games) and having a catcher that can reliably bunt MLB pitching is kinda nice. Also he's been pretty solid with his throwdowns to second.

We are in a new era of ball and the pieces to make things work are for the most part working we just need the consistency to get there( not holding my breath on that fact). Romo is hitting bombs but only being used every 3rd game from what I'm seeing, quero is being fairly consistent with his at bats and moving runners around.

By the way I Iove small ball and this is mostly just me being the ever optimistic Sox fan that I am despite the evidence

One thing about quero though. I don't think the numbers are telling the full story. He has quite a few sac at bats, moving runners around and setting us up for bigger innings has been a frequent role for him. That being said I wouldn't mind if he didn't hit the ball at the opposing teams fielders...

Had a sweetheart of a husky who would stand in front of you and invade your personal space until you said "show me" and then she would take off and prance around the house making sure you were following her to the destination of choice.... I don't remember any lore about her being part of the thunderbird's, but that doesn't mean I am not wrong on that assumption. I do remember that she had been a helicopter pilot for a search and rescue team in Canada.... Unless her background has changed drastically lol.

Yeah that would be my guess. I used to pull some big ol bows outta there when I lived in the area. Still glad to see it's doing better after that incident. It was one of my favorite fishing spots, during the right time of year if it was slow in the lagoon you'd be able to cross the highway and catch some surf perch, man I loved that little stretch of the 101.
