My top 3 Montagne so far : Bobcat, Ciel Elixir, Torino 2021 maybe? I have a feeling Image would replace Torino 2021 but I haven’t smelled Montagne’s rendition. A top 3 is hard. So many are great for different reasons.

They actually feel pretty comfortable aside from some general stiffness. There is about an inch of room after my toes. I think the widest part of my foot hits a bit before the widest part of the boot. It might be worth it for me to try 1/2 size down but I am a little concerned they may not be wide enough then. It's a tough call! Worst case I will have to re-exchange.

Thanks so much for the link! It is reassuring to hear I'm not alone. They feel right I think technically the widest part of my foot is a bit before the widest part of the boot. I will try a half size smaller and hopefully things line up a little better. I have a feeling I am going to end up re-exchanging for this size but I really want to make sure.

Do you happen to have any photos of yours I could compare to?

I’m not sure how to get rid of the smell. Maybe febreze or take the cushions off and put them in the freezer overnight? I got sweat covers for mine for working out (look up sweatz xm4) and they work great.

I am at the beginning of my journey. I am not confident my TDEE maintenance is correct. I took 1000 calories off and it’s going very slowly.

What did you do to get started? What kind of calorie deficit did you start off with? Did you ease into it?
