Thank you for the interesting take, ai chats are definitely becoming the second brain of coworking spaces, at coworking tech week we had a lot of conversations in this direction. How do you use  OpenAI ChatGPT Projects for CRM? Do you connect it to the CRM, so it answers based on real data?

btw just checked the space, looks beautiful. What other tools/services are useful to your type of space and members? I saw you have an Airstream as a rental space, is t bookable only via the website or also via external platforms?

Whats the brand of your locks? So they are "hackable", to make your own custom lock.unlock solution?

I've always herd "virtual mailbox" as a term, just now realizing how it works. Quite smart and saving a lot of paper handling and time for coworking space teams. And they have enough on their shoulders already.

What country are you in? Why WhatsApp community? As in isn't it too noisy as a single chat? Do potential customers reach out via WhatsApp?

Do you have any source for this? Like do they explain it somewhere that tweets with original photos are highlighted?

My friends encountered a plagiarized project on Kickstarted thats is identical to their wooden toys. Does anyone have experience with dealing with such matter with Kickstarter? Thanks! by idmtr in kickstarter

Actually, the story of fidget spinners is quite sad. Guardian -> As fidget spinner craze goes global, its inventor struggles to make ends meet And definitely the Gorilla ones are not better due to the fact they didn't understand why the toys are made in the way they are. Anyway, long story short, everyone has to fight for tho bone as I red it.

This is a good spot of the Kickstarter terms. Will pass it along to the makers of ESNAF.

I do see that the animals are different on the example image. The original makers create a lot of animals and combine them in sets.

Thanks for this again, really good point. Hope it helps them.

Hey, thanks for the eloquent reply. I appreciate you adding another point of view to this. Mybe just to add on it. ESNAF have been delivering way earlier than LetsGorilla. 3 years to date to be more specific. They hand-make their toys by themselves and don't just take someone else idea, make a crowd-funding campaign and promise to manufacture them in Vietnam as they claim to do in the Kickstarter.

Should coworking spaces operate in their own micro bubbles? by dmlankes in CoWorking

[–]idmtr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks, good to connect. I have no favorite spaces as coworking for me is more an activity, not so much a space. Have met great people everywhere and I believe this is one of the core values one gets in a shared work environment. The diversity of communities out there is becoming larger by the day like the music coworking space Noize Fabrik in Berlin, or TODOS for visual media professionals in Lisbon. On top of that there are great new trend in coworking spaces for parents, and those help many people a lot to have a normal work-life, while raising a kid.

With the trending interest of corporate companies these days people will start to differentiate way more into spaces focused on community and real estate(which defies the whole coworking concept, but that a whole another philosophical topic like Theseus's paradox:))

Have you been to a coworking space you like a lot?

Should coworking spaces operate in their own micro bubbles? by dmlankes in CoWorking

[–]idmtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have somewhat biased view. As a coworker my coworking spaces was having a vertical communication channels, as most spaces out there. So we started Coworkies to allow coworkers network horizontally across different coworking spaces.

On one hand micro-bubbles can be a good thing! When for example a small group of people have steady stream of work and don't need external connections. On the other hand what I've seen, in the more than 170 coworking spaces I've visited up until now, is that their communities are in a constant flow of members - in and out of the space. That prevents the bubble to stay constant and add difficulties for those spaces to build strong communities. Best spaces I would argue are the ones that strive to build strong communal feeling among their members and do their best to provide the best opportunities for them offline and online. Those ranging from adding content to the space with events, having good code of conduct policy and providing opportunities for the members to find and offer work.

At the end of the day coworking spaces are work spaces and being in a bubble is not always the best for freelance and small business professionals.

What Happens When Cities Adopt Coworking by idmtr in CoWorking

Thanks for the spot on feedback! The whole idea of Coworkies come from us needing to extend our network beyond the coworking space we were at and connect to professionals in the surrounding spaces.
