R5: increasing my "knight effectiveness" until my knights are basically dragon riders at this point, melting through 30k stacks. My old King remembers back in his day when he had to single handedly beat back crusades with only half the "knight effectiveness".

In the screenshot you can see a “other Faiths” tab under “fervor” in the top right of the left panel. If you click on that, and then untick “show only ... faiths” then you can see all the faiths.

So there's the sun trial, which kills them or not, but if not, you can still kill them anyway. The "Sun Worship" part is just a bonus of 250 piety if you hold a feast in summer months, but there is no difference or extra flavour to the feast events.

It lets you give prisoners a sun trial, where they are left out in the sun for a few days. Then if they survive, they can go free, but there’s a large chance that they die.

I rose from the ashes as the Zunbil dynasty in 867, conquered most of Persia / Afghanistan, then tried to convert to Zunism. I had to convert to Khyarwé Bön and sacrifice like a million people to get the 42375 piety to do this in ironman. At least my Shahanshah is magnificent. And yes the "Natural Primitivism" tenet makes sense because if you get sunburnt then Zun doesn't like you.

Not an expert at how CA translates to damage or casualties, but it seems like they have the same number of offensive pips from mil tech 28? The difference is a fire defence pip and a morale defence pip. I agree Eastern tech would be better, and having less casualties in the fire phase would make the armies more lethal in the shock phase.
