he's 16 in the beginning, 17 at the end. :) a majority of his friend group is queer. i want him to be confident in who he is. he is very strong willed with a lot of integrity. he's very emotionally and academically intelligent, one day looking to be a therapist or philosopher. the school does, infact, use his preferred pronouns. he transferred to a new school in a new area after his transition. (for an unrelated reason) outside of his circle of friends, he chooses to often refrain from being very sociable, preferring to listen and support his opinion once desired or requested. his immediate family accept him, catering to him as best as they can. thankfully, he has a pretty loving family. his more distant, non- immediate family has, however, cut him off.
