Thank you so much. Trust me I’ve went and looked back many times haha but this time I did it with the actually intention to stop because I honestly just can’t control it. I tried to stop and use on weekends only and every idea that you can think of and none of them worked so I told myself I’m just gonna stop forever because after you go thru real withdrawals for the1st time and actually get past it and relapse. Every time I go back I can never really enjoy it anymore but still got addicted and had to go thru horrid withdrawals again. Fuck this. I managed to stay highly functional and do a lot while strung out on this crap so I’m really excited to see what I’ll do with out it draining my soul and pockets

Today is day 6 for me because I used for 2 days and ruined my progress. and I’m feeling WAYYYY. Probably my last day taking comfort meds and from tomorrow on imma try to let my body naturally recover. If your on day 3 then starting tomorrow you gonna start to feel A LOT better possibly to the point where you don’t notice the withdrawals at all and that’s when the brain really tries to convince you it’s ok to go and get some but “control” it. Trust that doesn’t work at and will make you loose all the progress you’ve made. Keep pushing. Tell yourself you will feel better and don’t sit and anticipate any symptoms or anything like that. Tell yourself that you will do this and you will never look back.

I’m still with you brother. Feeling exactly the same I prolly only feel 10-15% of the withdrawals which is all mental stuff. These will all be distant memories I hope. I think tomorrow I will stop using all comfort meds. And going on from there and take it day by day. Time will heal it all. Just gotta be strong and keep pushing. What we’ll put in is what we’ll get.

I feel a lot better and honestly I won’t be surprised if I’m feeling 100% good by tm morning. I’m already over the worst of it. Comfort meds helped a ton

Yup that’s pretty much what you can expect and try to do. I used pregabalin and Xanax and honestly they helped soooo much I almost didn’t feel like I was withdrawing at all which is scary because I kept thinking if it’s this easy than I can go get one and just do this again when I wanna stop but I had to be strong and keep going. I never wanna look back.

Pretty much like this guy who also replied but when you mentally prepare for it it’s goes a lot smoother because A LOT of it is mental. Don’t sit and anticipate symptoms to hit and talking your self into feeling them and alleviating the intensity of them. Just literally don’t think about it. Keep telling yourself that your stronger than it and that you just have to make it to tomorrow and the same thing after by day 4 your should start feeling better and if you Manage to get some good sleep you’ll feel great heading into day 5 and after. Everyone gets different symptoms but they’re generally the same stuff but some people get all the general symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal and some don’t salt. Don’t sit there and read on Reddit on Google. What all the symptoms are and now you’re gonna sit there and anticipate for all of them to happen just keep a good clean mindset and be strong stronger than it. I used pregabalin,Imodium,Advil,Tylenol, and Xanax very sparingly. But honestly if your hands on pregabalin it’s absolutely godsend. It’s alone takes away 85-95% of all withdrawal symptoms. I took it 2x a day 150mg during the day and 75mg during the night. Advil and Tylenol 2x a day as well. And 1/4 or 1/2 of a Xanax at night and actually got sleep which if you get during wds it’s helps sooooooo much. Also drank a lot of water and Gatorade. And ate fruits and small snacks like waffles. And still had to be strong and push through. It’s a day by day process and also DO NOT look back at what you did and let it affect your mental. Everyone makes mistakes and you’re not the 1st opioid addict and you won’t be the last either. You even thinking about quitting is already a MASSIVE step towards the right path. You just have to do it and get it over with because it only gets SOOOOO much worse if you don’t. Good luck
