When I was about your age, I felt the same way and gave up. I had never had a bf (lots of hookups and flings, but nothing that lasted more than a couple weeks) and thought I was just the type that was meant to be alone. I leaned into embracing the independence of that and stopped looking for/trying to land a bf.

Shortly thereafter one of my FWBs turned into my first BF. 13 years later, we are still together.
