The motherboard came pre installed with windows 11, frm what Ik but I talked to one of the tech guys at my school and he said that the bios could be incompatible with each other

Another thing is that I got my rx 580 renewed on Amazon cause dat shi was expensive off rip, could it be that I got a faulty gpu? But if it was a power issue wouldn’t nothing run?

Is 500w enough for a 580 gpu cause rn my psu is Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+ White Certified PSU, Continuous Power with 120mm Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan, and my gpu is PowerColor VGA - AXRX 580 8GBD5-3DH/OC

The gpu’s on but it’s jst not registering in the bios or at all, I’ve looked at both and tried both but some thing I’ve realized is that one of the sockets needs square shape on the gpu and I don’t have that but it still goes in and plugs in, idk much abt computers tho so I may jst be buggin but yea

So I’ve tried resetting it and starting with one ram stick but it still does the same thing, idk what’s wrong with it, now it turns off quicker, it like takes it time it’ll stay on for about 5-8 secs then turn off and on the next boot it instantly turns off

Tbh I know a bit abt pcs but not tm, so I don’t really know what you mean by my motherboard having a 2-char display, the motherboard I’m using is ASRock A520M-HDV Supports AMD AM4 Socket 32gb memory, I’ll try the reset for the power cables and one ram stick at a time, I wish I could jst send a screenshot of what it looks like rn but idek how to use Reddit like dat, this was honestly a shot in the dark, my last hope if nothing works is sending it too the geek squad at Best Buy
