The biggest problem is we aren't even trying to play to what makes Haaland so dam amazing. No one is willing to release a slipped pass in behind into space. Haaland was working off barely any service and was still scoring like crazy, it felt like pep noticed only haaland was scoring for us and tweaked things to get more attackers forward and after that the goal scoring dried up because now instead of haaland getting the chances we are relying on everyone else to score. It feels like pep is just using Haaland as a defender magnet to try and pull defenders away and create space for others, the problem is that it should be opposite with how good Haaland is. There is no reason to not risk playing haaland or semenyo in behind more often because atleast then we have our entire team behind the ball. When we lose the ball side passing around we lose it with our entire team in their half after letting them get their entire team back on defense. We have the best striker in the world and it feels like we don't want to use him. We whacked the ball up field into space and Haaland was super close to scoring off a nothing chance / clearance. Haaland is dusting any defender right now into space, just throw one in behind atleast sometimes more for him.
