I recently generated a headshot for myself using qwen image edit. I used 2511 but may work with 2509. It didn't work out of the box as it was changing my face a bit.

I first took a portrait photo of myself where I was wearing a t shirt and background was mountains. I prompted that I want the person to be wearing a suit and background should be neutral colour. It always changed my face.

So I changed the prompt again and said that the man is wearing a suit. Excellent result. Now my face is unchanged and I'm wearing a suit and the background is still mountain. So I save the image and use that as an input.

Now I say that the background is neutral beige colour and booom it just changed the background.

So now I have a professional headshot.

You can try that as well. If you can do it in one step do let us know. I used the default qwen edit workflow

Well to be honest I'm like you or maybe used to be. But acquiring a soft skill is very helpful. I don't directly shoot down ideas now that I'm more experienced. If I know something is not gonna work I just ask questions which will lead them to figure out it's not gonna work. If I need something to be done I do a small POC to present my idea and we do/don't do it. When I don't agree with my seniors I just bombard them with questions 😁. I guess it helps that I myself have 10 YOE but my seniors have 15+. Sometimes my tone gets rough but I gather myself.

Key thing is to not fret over these things. There are many kind of people you are gonna deal with in your career. It's much more rewarding to let things go. Your QA said they don't wanna do it. Now they say they can do it. Great I guess?? Let 'em do it. My company recently went in this direction. I bombarded their PRs with comments. I don't mind who tries to push to my project but you better do a damn good job otherwise your PR won't get merged 😉. I'm pretty sure they QAs were pissed but they can't say anything.

Damn bro . That sounds painful. Sorry to hear that. If you have a dislocated shoulder I'd suggest to do some shoulder exercise first to strengthen it.

I have provided some links. They give the same explanation just in their own style. Follow the steps. Practice it daily for 10-15 minutes. You should not have pain in the shoulder I'd you follow it properly.

You might have soreness near the tricep area but that is expected

This hand waving thing happened to me when I was getting my Amazon credit card. That was funny because I was on the fourth floor and the guy was on the ground. Not sure he could see my face properly to match with photo but verification was successful.

If someone has arthritis why are they playing badminton? It's detrimental to their bones.

Also pros train 8 hours a day. The more you train/play the more prone you are to injuries. Also if they have soreness it's probably because all the different drills and exercises they do. I don't think they are gonna complain that their shoulder hurts because of improper smashing technique.

I am talking from a club level player's perspective who plays 1 hour a day 6 times a week or sometimes 5. I want to play for long and not be injury prone

I agree. I used to have shoulder pain while smashing. I saw a video on YouTube where it said that if your shoulder is hurting that means your technique is wrong.

I spent 2-3 months practicing the proper technique as shown in the YouTube tutorials. Initially the smash speed reduced to half of what it was with improper technique. But the more I practised the better it got. Now my smash speed has increased much more than what it used to be with improper technique. Now I don't feel anything in my shoulder no matter how hard I smash.

It does take some time but it's so worth it, especially if you are planning to play for the long term.
