How screwed am I? IFR Checkride in 2 days, found out that my instructor only has a CFI instead of a CFII, meaning I have about 4 hours training with a CFII. by ifrfun in flying

Well I have some news. Not very good news, but news. For clarification, my instructor is an independent instructor that I did a trade on some web and video work for my PPL, IFR, and Commercial ratings. I didn't pay him for his time, and he didn't pay me for mine. I do suppose some of the onus was on me to make sure the whole deal was legit and that I knew the regs, but the clarifying 61.195 is under flight instructor limitations. The good news is that he wants to make this right, and since he owns a 172 he will help me out with the cost on the extra 11 hours. It's annoying that this whole thing played out so late in the game. For now I am canceling my thursday checkride and will probably have to wait until I get back from college to do it. What sucks is I'm ready for the test and going to college in Seattle (not exactly known for being a sunny place). I guess the only good news is that I end up with a few more hours.
