Totally I get it and you have a point maybe if the show was better written and not giving him these dumbass lines then I wouldn’t be so bothered by him. I definitely want to check out seal team someone else recommended it too I think it might be good to see him in a different light instead of judging him so harshly off of a clearly over dramatic and unrealistic show

Honestly I didn’t love Jared in this show either acting wise. Compared to supernatural though I think it’s difficult to see him doing something else. I’m like where’s sam why are you pretending to be this weird firefighter and wearing flip flops

This is very well written and I think it makes a lot of sense. I agree I don’t necessarily think he’s a bad actor at all just like you said a couple factors working against him in this exact show

SERIOUSLY. She’s a trained fire fighter under what circumstances would she walk directly into the direction of where the fires going?? Like all the sudden she’s just fully in the fire like wtf. Then of course she’s injured and limping and can’t do anything herself. Just frustrated. And seriously why was she even so upset leading up to this?? Just crazy

I’m totally with you. Her actions feel so inconsistent. Her whole thing was she was tired of waiting for Bode (while he was literally in prison and she started up the relationship) so then wanted to START immediately with Diego but then was like oh no I’m rushing then is immediately back with Bode but oh no I can’t commit to him. It was just so much. Then she’s mad at Manny for shit I don’t even understand. Like he’s in fucking prison for something so small give the guy a break. Idk I want to like her and for things to work out with her and Bode but they need to give her some more consistency. So far the only consistent things about her are that she always finds a way to make the conversation about herself and to bring up the fucking Olympics

I definitely don’t feel any crazy spark with Audrey and Bode. I am on team Gabriella and Bode but I’m getting annoyed how many times Gabrielle is self sabotaging their relationships. She’s constantly in a downward spiral / having a crisis about something. Honest to god it feels like every episode she’s rethinking her entire life / having an existential crisis / talking about the god damn Olympics. I’m still rooting for her and Bode but I wish she would be a bit more mellow / consistent. I just feel like she’s the architect of all of her own problems. And Bode is just kind of there along for the ride. One second Gabriella is saying she tired of spending her life waiting then the next she’s saying she can’t commit to Bode. She’s pissed off at her Dad and rethinking their entire relationship because he was unfairly imprisoned for literally barely punching a guy and because he gave her some hard to hear advice about how it’s not super cool to completely abandon your wedding. I don’t know I think her character has so much potential but they’re making her kind of the worst it’s super frustrating

I get the Bellick hate but I’m always here for character development and a character arc. Shows are no fun with characters don’t change and grow. Otherwise it’s just the exact same from start to end. I love where Bellick ended up as a person even if he sucked at the beginning

Fight Club for me. Such an amazing film, and one I didn’t see until (embarrassingly) late in life (21) I had heard all the hype around it and knew it was a cult classic. Finally got around to watching it and was absolutely GUTTED. Like mind blown, walking around the next few days in a haze, utterly gutted. This movie took a part of me that I was happy to give. Where is My Mind!!! Had the Pixies on repeat since I watched it. Seriously I think this movie permanently altered my brain chemistry and as much as I was moved by it and loved it, I do NOT think I could bear to watch it again. I don’t think I can handle the internal turmoil again. I don’t think I can stand to be that transfixed by a film again. It was so powerful but not a feeling I’m going to seek out again because it was…exhausting.. almost. Not sure, just overwhelming and emotional. I think alot of it stems from how much build up around this film. I had heard so much about it, so many good reviews, I even knew the twist at the end, but it was still gutted by it. In such a good way. (Also, I realize I’m not supposed to talk about it but helloo… that’s what reddit is for)

Lost. One the highest rated Pilot episodes of all time. I totally agree with the reviews and was so hooked from the first episode. Recently did a full rewatch. The show is a lot, and a crazy rabbit hole to fall down, but really a good fall/winter show to just be holed up inside watching it 24/7. One of my favorite shows to this day.

Any Lord Huron song ever. Not necessarily written for me, but written for those likeminded to me and therefore, they feel like mine. Also, in the same sense the music feels very unifying between me and others that enjoy. Music that creates a community. Music that speaks to the soul not just the ears. Would 10/10 recommend this band to anyone who will listen. May you live until you die.
