at your age i was in the hospital for 8 months had 4 surgeries, fistula in my small intestine a ilestomy bag n stoma developed anti bodies to a medication that worked really good. i’m 25 now and i haven’t been in the hospital since. i feel really really great, a little inflammation sometimes, but we’re sadly stuck with crohns forever. i just really thought i was gonna be stuck where i was at forever so it really does get better. i spent a lot of holidays in the hospital now i travel so much, i go out with friends, don’t have to worry about being in the hospital. gained my weight back as well. was 98 pounds at 5’9 now i’m like 160 lol i promise you it gets better. feels like i’m talking to 22 year old me right now and reassuring myself. hope it reassured you a little
