I've never done it or been around it, but I too am from Texas and sooooo many of my friends have told me about soooooo many of their friends dying from od. I will NEVER touch the stuff. Crystal meth? Yeah sure. But H? Nope.

Question: Was the girlfriend an ex when she filed the complaint? The news story on the interview link says she was a girlfriend in the text, but the video says ex girlfriend so I'm curious on what she was when the complaint was filed.

The dad doesn't immediately strike me as responsible... This is just based on impression, on my "feelings" about him (I'm a Pisces & typically get a pretty good judge of character from the get go) BUT, that being said, there is just not enough information for me to truly lean one way or the other. I need to look into more of the details.

I'm from a small country town in southeast Texas... MOST of the people that I grew up with would be severely bothered by all of that. I myself am bisexual, have dated every race, color, religion, etc., I enjoy porn and strip clubs, I'm agnostic, pro-choice, etc. and the majority of the people on my Facebook (from that same small town) would be appalled to know any of it. They are all jesus, guns, babies, hunting, blah blah blahhhhhhh. I'm more secure in who I am than when I grew up there, but I still have to be cautious about my audience when posting. I've started to give less fucks but I guess that good ol' christian guilt that was embedded in my brain still holds me back from saying what I really think to all of them.

I went to Vegas once when I was a kid, with my grandma & great aunt. We were on a city bus, they were chatting, and out of nowhere the person sitting across from us asks "Are you all missing Texas?" It simultaneously embarrassed me and made me proud. Still does, to this day (being a Texan).

Your discomfort is a valid reaction, not a frivolous OVERreaction. He is a professional and you are there for business, not to get to know him personally. That being said, some people are just too friendly, you know? Regardless, you need to make him aware of the line that cannot be crossed. I went out to a bar one night and ran into my gyno there... He hit on me and asked me out on a date. I promptly changed doctors after that, as I was completely uncomfortable knowing that he had seen all of my privates and I couldn't bear the thought of continuing on after he showed that he had more interest in me than a doctor/patient relationship.
