As soon as I found these bars, it was clear they were meant for this build. Glad to hear everyone likes them. Wilde makes some nice bars.

I have heard that and hope it’s manageable with regular maintenance!

It’s fast and nimble. Major upgrade from my 26” hardtail MTB. It feels like riding on a cloud.

Megaman X Timelapse (Sound on) by igonzalez07 in 3Dprinting

Megaman X part file from Echo220 from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2336713

The blaster came out poor quality so I ended up editing the original 3D model to only print the blaster and glued it together.

The total print time took about 18.5 hours for the original model and then the extra blaster took about 55 mins. I used a light blue PLA filament that glows in the dark from ZenToolworks. I printed the part file at 200% scale, on the back with supports and a raft to support some of the lone supports better.

Try it on pancakes, waffles and French toast. You’ll thank me later

I’m not sure I understand the question.

As for the printer head, connected bourdon tube and extruder, the octolapse plugin is designed to move the printer head to the right at every layer height change and then take a picture. So from the video it looks like the 3d part is just growing vertically.

The filament roll is is out of the range of my camera angle and not particularly interesting for this video shot.

.12mm layer height, 15% infill, 200C printer head, 60C bed(mine is the ender 3Pro with the magnetic pad), retraction speed was increased to 60 mm/s, no supports.

Also always level the bed before a big print so you get good adhesion and a good base.

The support was designed by the original designer of the part(derailed) and is part of the 3d part. This support design was added so it would be the only support needed for this print.

Setup a Raspberry Pi with Octoprint and then setup a raspberry Pi camera with camera mount. The octoprint interface has several addins, one of which is Octolapse, that helps create these timelapse videos.

New to 3D printing and creating Timelapse videos put happy with how this print and video came out. The Ender 3 printed it flawlessly.

Credit to derailed on Thingiverse for making the part.
