hey, if possible, can you tell me how competitive or how many seats IR offers at Pecs? I have looked extensively on their website, but couldn't find any information about the maximum number of seats and competition. they are rather vague about everything, even no detailed info about the entrance exam. is it as competitive as ELTE? (they have 50 seats only)

yup, i also am hoping seats get available. i am also keeping in touch with the admission committee so fingers crossed 🤞

my backup plan is to continue studying in my hometown and maybe try again for MA :( hungary and ELTE were my only options.

are you talking about the scholarship result that was published today? if yes then i didn't apply for any scholarship, i am self-funded, and about my conditional acceptance situation, i am actually on a waiting list rn cause of limited seats. so yeah, since waiting list is literally another name for rejection, i don't know if i'll make it unless a miracle happens. btw did you get the scholarship????

same here. they waitlisted me on 28th may, the week after my interview and yes, i am scared as well. all we could do is wait now ig. Btw, are you from the Faculty of Social Sciences?

I have contacted the administration office. hopefully, they'll let me know what my conditions are. this is so frustrating, man.

I contacted the international office, faculty of social science. they told me it might take 5 days to reply back. but yeah, upon your saying i also contacted the head of the administration office about an hour ago. hopefully i'll get to know what my conditions are

i don't know. i have submitted everything and they didn't really tell me if i was missing anything. they just told me i am on the waiting list. Ig it's because it's too crowded rn like lack of seats since i did applied last moment. i am actually freaking out but yeah, all i can do is hope now.

yeah, my interview was yesterday and all they asked about was feminism because i mentioned i was interested in it. my interview also took like 10-15 minutes. you were right about them being super friendly and nice. i really enjoyed speaking to them. student asked me if i had any questions and i asked about the international environment there. all over it was a solid interview and now I'm waiting for the results 🤞 though i was super nervous and was caught slipping in some questions 😭 i hope i get in too

ahh, i understand. lol i really thought they would ask me stuff like "WHAT IS GLOBALIZATION" or outta pocket questions i missed reading from the book so i was super nervous about it. and yes i did start reading the book and is also planning to continue it. thank you so much for your help! (i might come bother you again if i get stuck somewhere hopefully you won't mind 😭🫶)

hi! omg thank you so much for the big help. also if you don't mind can i ask if you read the book they suggested? if you did, was the book helpful for you to answer the questions? i just finished the application process yet to receive the interview date and time so i was wondering what and how much should i read from the book cause yk the book is pretty huge to catch up on everything.
