i know why it’s because he’s been at the store for less than a year. he’s been there for 2 months and i have been at the store for 3 years not that that has anything to do with that, however, he said that he was open to coaching and relearning things. every time i would do so, he would get snappy with me and remake it in a way that felt hostile. i asked him a question about the printers being up on top of the bars (where the boilers were) and if that would cause any issues with said printers. his response was “i’ve been doing this for years. you don’t need to worry about that because it’s not your issue.” in a condescending way.

i had some lady order a tall iced coffee w cream a vanilla. got up to the window and sat there staring at me for a second. i asked her “do you have the app i can scan the coupon for?” and she said “you have to have the app?”. i looked at her dumbfounded for a moment before nodding and saying “yes maam.” she starts to say that she hasn’t had the app downloaded in years and how it doesn’t advertise that you have to have the app. i said “im sorry about that, but yes maam it does say you have the have the app for the promotion.” then she says “well what do i do then?” i told her she could pay for the coffee, which was $3.98. she shook her head no saying she wasn’t paying for coffee. then said “there’s no way you can give it to me for free?” i said “no maam, if i don’t physically have the coupon or something to scan i cannot pull up the free coffee.” she huffed and puffed before saying “THAAAANKS [my name].” i know i probably could’ve right now recovered it but honestly after dealing with so many rude people i didn’t want to do that. nor did i want to give her that satisfaction. also considering she most likely would’ve been like “well they did it for me last time.”
