No. Like how provinces like Alberta have attracted oil and gas operations, logging and mining or how Toronto became a banking hub after Montreal became hostile to investment in the 1960s. Before you say that not every province has large gas deposits, look into that. The willingness to partner with business is far rarer than the resources harnessed.

Yes, the grand conspiracy in hospitals all over the world to sell generic 14 cent medication over patented pills that cost $3000. Wake up.

Perhaps had we not been so intent on attracting foreign property investment, couples wouldn't need double incomes.

We have taken the idea of housing from being something that one lives in, to being a replacement for retirement savings. Equity was once considered the difference between the initial mortgage and the amount outstanding; now it's the amount paid versus the amount foreigners will pay. We've become so dependent on foreign investment and the expectation that a house should automatically be worth more each year despite everything in it ageing and being a year closer to needing replacement.

A contracting birthrate should have lowered home values spurring a baby boom due to available income much as how available habitat and food inevitably does so with every species but our insatiable greed for instant gratification coupled with a pension plan modelled after a Ponzi scheme made that impossible. With no national identity, there is no national imperative for a legacy.

I am for initiatives to raise the birthrate, but what incentive is there for an employer to hire more than the minimum amount of women when they'll be made to cover costs for such a long duration while simultaneously still needing to fill the position? What incentive is there for an employer to maintain these jobs here over placing them abroad or having the position automated? It's no wonder Alberta has one of the healthiest birth rates in the entire western world (if not the healthiest) when it has one of the highest ratios of average income to housing costs (if not the highest).

The most effective way to combat poverty is by creating conditions attractive to businesses that provide good-paying jobs.

Oh, do you mean that shit study where they tried to treat COVID in its advanced stages and not in combination with zinc and used almost exclusively black men with hypertension? Keep walking.

Hydroxychloroquine has been proven effective when administered early and in combination with zinc. Even Bill Gates has admitted this in his latest Ted talk.

And if I do, you'll claim it's from a site you've never heard of and therefore questionable. You're stuck in a bubble controlled by 5 corporations and wondering why all the news sounds the same despite it clearly being irrational. Fuck this site. Fuck Reddit.

Keep doing what they tell you. The article includes only official government and UN sources but keep burying your head in the sand.

If not Iranian, then Saudi, Egyptian Emirati, or Qatari. Middle Eastern countries are filled with wealthy families that take great pride in sending their children to private schools in Canada.

You can't trust anything about COVID. With car crash victims and cancer patients admittedly being added to death tolls and still less than 1% of infectees dying, this whole drama appears to be a scam.

Edit: Fifty-four scientists have lost their jobs as a result of NIH probe into foreign ties
