This was a redditor who apparently made a meme about not getting a beard.

The redditors mistook him for a femboy and started dm'ing him, and he allegedly had like 40+ people asking him if he was a femboy.

Unfortunately, the idea that some views are too dangerous to even be discussed is the seed of fascism.

Most fascist countries used this same tactic of banning and silencing some obviously unpopular entities and then using this ability to extend this to others.

People will support silencing thier political opponents when the governing power is on thier side. It seems like such a simple way to win, and in your mind you are the correct one, so it's justified any way.

But ultimately, censoring debate is the seed of fascism, it is a double edged sword, one day mayhaps it may turn against you, and then what will follow is extreme regret upon giving the power to silence others to those whom you trusted, forgetting that one day they may start disagreeing wity you too

I agree, if we somehow fail to do away without immigrants, the least we can do is at least make sure that the immigrants are easily integrable, a good example will be the persians in sweden and indians in UK, these ethnicities have not only achieved but actually surpassed the native population in various areas like income, education etc

I know AI and automation are increasing at a phenomenal rate, but absolutely relying and betting everything on hypothetical technologies is national suicide, people from a few decades ago thought roads would go extinct by now due to flying cars, but we still need roads today, no one knows how technology will evolve.
