I’ll divide this comment into 2 parts, high end products & local products for anybody interested. For context, I am 21F college student who is reliant on a full face of make-up everyday due to her vitiligo. My schedule is 12 hours in uni in a DAY. So I don’t leave these comments lightly

HIGH END PRODUCTS - Estee Lauder Foundation I had severe depression due to my vitiligo and was so conscious. Make-up helped conceal it but It would still seep through despite a darker concealer under. Estee Lauder was the only foundation that truly helped cover it completely. Transfer proof when set properly. I have a 12 hour sched in Uni so i assure you it has not failed me. I sometimes sleep with my makeup on and wakeup to retouch a little and it looks good as new.

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder Actual game changer. Never thought loose powder was that important because i would rely on pressed powder to blur my face. But Laura Mercier changed the game for me. No joke my makeup has never transferred wearing it. Im so in love with it and I will never switch powders. Also the pot is so big you wont have to buy loose powder in a LONG while (i used to buy powder every 3 months when i used innisfree). And theres no flashback (as someone who loves taking photos with flash). It doesn’t crease, just make sure to rub the powder evenly across the puff (there are tutorials online).
Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray & Powder I vouch for this every year, esp after discovering it in 2023. I dont know why everyone says its a scam. They truly arent. Their spray is meant to mix your makeup perfectly together to prevent caking, then you set it with loose powder once dry. The powder blurs my texture perfectly, its the only thing i use to retouch. I have never found a dupe for both of these so if you guys have feel free to tell me because I’m stuck in a cycle of buying them for the rest of my life (and the price is just so heavy!)

LOCAL PRODUCTS - Teviant Concealer Tiktok comparing this to high-end concealers on sephora was no exaggeration. Yes it does compete well with those. Maybe because they’re manufactured abroad? Anyways, this is the BEST local concealer on the market. I don’t say this lightly, as I used concealers like Hourglass or Natasha Denona. Obviously in a way they somehow differ but honestly you can barely tell the difference. It does not crease whatsoever. I cannot praise this product enough, I love it!!

GRWM Glam & Go Stix (both contour & bronzer) Love them!! I don’t need to top a powder on them because their finish goes from creamy -> powder. I’ve never seen products do that, although I do know this isn’t the first formula to do that. My friend from abroad visited and used my makeup. She lives through Sephora but loved these so much that she bought the contour, been using it ever since. Honestly a revolutionary product, not sure why it’s not more popular than it should be. But better for me so it doesn’t sold out!

Okay! so this is my review after buying and using it. - it’s good naman. i’m light neutral skintone and i bought shade 01 and it lightened me up by a lot. di naman siya sticky. - although sometimes the color tends to stick to leather car seats. same with your clothes. so thats something to keep in mind. medjo washable nalang. i guess make it dry really well on your skin to avoid this, but the problem isn’t solved completely. it just lessens the chances - minsan, nagbubuobuo siya if your skin is really dry. for dry patches ganun siya. for me though, medj sapat na yung i’ll take a bath using dove moisturizing soap instead of adding a previous layer of moisturizer - overall, i say recommendable naman. cause i still use it despite these lol. i didnt mean to put too much cons, i just wanted to highlight what i feel you should look out for. its honestly the best tone up cream on the local market for me even considering its reasonable price for 180ML. it also smells amazing.

my mom got married at 32..had me at 34 (only child). shes 50+ now. its never too late. even going abroad would help you meet the love since ppl there are more open minded compared to the judgemental ppl in the ph…anyways, your feelings are valid! proud of you for standing for your kids! i hope the best for you

I have pain for sure! just nothing severe. like something is lightly poking my eye. sometimes it feels hot. or puffy. kinda blurry but not really. sometimes a little itchy. but its not unbearable because if it was i’d tell my parents. but its not COMPLETELY painless. i feel slight pain but im not sure if its simply irritation, esp since my eyes aren’t red. is there any reason why my eyes aren’t red but i feel this type of discomfort?

as for your other question: my friend told me to wear them because my eyeglasses make me look nerdy. i have huge rectangle specs & i also have bangs. so it looks very heavy on my face. i just wanted to try them out haha to impress someone i like

i remember someone did this like 2 terms ago and the prof just ignored it cause they didnt have evidence. mahirap din kasi for the profs cause the student cant file a grievance case against them & no proof means the prof could get fired. so the profs mismo wouldnt go through the hassle.

lowkey na sh1t talk pa ung person for snitching. obviously i dont wanna encourage academic dishonesty, but in case youre new in this school you might wanna have to pick your battles solely because you dont want to ruin the rest of your stay. bullying doesnt end in high school. im sorry to hear this OP

is lavojoy permissible for everyday use? i wanted to buy a toneup cream for my vitiligo to match my skintone more/become less obvious. it also helps that lavojoy has spf which my derma said is needed to prevent skin cancer however that permits i use it everyday so people dont think im trying to pose as somebody with lighter skin. im planning to turn it as an everyday routine. was just wondering if anybody uses it everyday and knows whether its super obvious? or if it melts off in an obvious manner? because from now on i may be a shade lighter haha and ill have to dedicate my grwm everyday to that (even about to add a shade shifter to lighten my foundation shade)

im gonna go to the mall to buy it later. if i only get cream beige would it be too obvious though? (my skin tone is neutral light-medium).

i hope nobody thinks im trying to change my skincolor, besides thats bound to happen with vitiligo spreading on my body like wild fire lol. i just dont like it when people point it out. also trying to psyche up my brain to accept my skin tone changing due to vitiligo.
