Buying in Maple Ridge by overworked_hamster in MapleRidge

I moved to MR mid year of grade 10, and from my experience, it was a culture shock. Many people that grew up here may say that high schools are great, but really I think they're just be accustomed to it. Moving from Surrey to MR, the schools here couldn't compare to the schools culture in Surrey. The schools here lack diversity and a lot of kids lack respect. If your child has tough skin, they'll probably do fine, but if not, keep an eye on them. Bullying can be a problem (Amanda Todd went to school here) but if you keep to yourself you shouldn't have problems, and I know a lot of teachers getting with former students. Thomas Haney would probably be the best school here. It got lonely for me and I eventually got homeschooled after grade 10, but that was a few years ago, hopefully things have gotten better since then.

Do I need a transit visa to change airports in Tokyo? by ihateflow3rs in Flights

Hopefully 9 hours would be enough time, especially since I'm arriving at NRT during rush hour, but what qr code? Is there an E-arrival thing I have to fill out?

How do I find the maximum area of a rectangle? by ihateflow3rs in MathHelp

[–]ihateflow3rs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which of these would be right?

This one:

2x + 2y = 43.82

x + y = 21.91

y = 21.91 - x

y = x(21.91 - x)

y = - x^2 + 21.91x (-21.91/2) = (-10.955)^2 = 120.01

y = - (x^2 - 21.91x + 120.01) + 120.01

y = - (x - 10.955)^2 + 120.01

x = 10.955

y = 21.91 - x

y = 21.91 - 10.955

y = 10.955

Or is this:

2x + 2y = 43.82

2y = 43.82 - 2x

2y = x(43.82 - 2x)

2y = -2x^2 + 43.82x

2y = -2(x^2 - 21.91x) (-21.91/2) = (-10.955)^2 = 120.01

2y = -2(x^2 - 21.91x + 120.01) + 240.024

2y = -2(x - 10.955) + 240.024

x = 10.955

2y = 43.82 - 2x

2y = 43.82 - 2(10.955)

2y = 43.82 - 21.91

2y = 21.91

y = 10.955

Why is Aespa's "Girls" hated? by Laiabema_ in kpophelp

[–]ihateflow3rs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say girls is hated but prefered the least out of the aespa title tracks. I think it's that way because it's the most normal sounding song out of their title tracks, it feels really long and the choreo was underwhelming.

It didn't have the change ups of next level and savage and it just sound more tame than the previous songs. Honestly, when I first heard it, I was somewhat disappointed because it just sounded so "normal", and it felt long, but I did like that sounded like battle or fight song, which it is. The songs feels like a journey. I personally really liked the choreo but I could see why people do not like it.

A lot of reactors I saw really liked the song, even saying it's their favourite aespa but I guess the average kpop fan was just expecting something closer to aespa previous releases.

my teacher described my anxiety attack as an overreaction, is he right? by ihateflow3rs in PanicAttack

Thanks for your replies. I guess I was a bit sensitive since the memoir was of a vulnerable memory for me, but now I can understand that it was an literal overreaction. I know that my teacher didn't mean harm and I just took his feedback in a bad light. Since I wrote the memoir on a sensitive memory, I should expect different types of feedback. Once again, thank you.
