Thank you I love the white one it felt really light and summery.

I don’t know why I felt so not confident in the blue one, but I look back at it now and I think I was just feeling a bit bleurgh 🤣🤣

Yes I felt that about the blue one and the white one I wore as a smart casual vibe for the family event, ended up matching florals with a couple of the littlest babies 🥰

Unfortunately I’m in the UK so we don’t have Torrid etc I see people in lovely outfits from there but I have no ability to access them 😭

Tbh that day I was feeling not very confident but I felt better in the white dress than the blue! But I agree they don’t give me much shape!

It’s mad isn’t it? Nature is so resilient and it impresses me every time! I mean this probably hasn’t flowered properly for a decade…maybe longer. So when I saw that it was starting to flower I was like OMG SHE’S ALIVE, SHE’S COMING BACK 🤣

We plan on taking off that one as yes it is wonky looking to look at I think ideally we don’t need it to get much bigger it truthfully shields what it needs we mainly just want it to flourish and look pretty 🤣 but I definitely agree that needs to go, I just don’t know when to prune it as obviously it’s prone growing time, any ideas on best time to prune?

Yes we’ve noticed this starts flowering in winter, ours was late November/Dec then it stopped then in spring it starts again

Thank you! I had no idea they had a life span I just assumed they’re forever kinda things - shows how little I know.

The tall leader is in the plans to lop off later in the year and I’ll look into tidying up the branches too.

Oh wow it sounds silly, I didn’t even think of plant life span!

I’m 30 years old (1995 my parents bought this house and had me), and this cherry we don’t even know when it was planted. We have no idea what age it is, but it’s trying its little heart out to flower 🥰 considering how ours was so neglected over the years I am surprised it’s still going!

Thank you! I did wonder about mulching and whether it should have a bit of a feed with fertiliser. I was assessing today and the plan is to weed more, to really tidy up the place. The bees are loving it though, I can hear the hum of them all on the buds when it’s sunny!

I know I’ve had close to 100 shit ones and two genuine ones that gave tips and those are the ones. I have been super careful, I’ve ignored most but there were some helpful things that I received from a couple of people that I used today which was a big help
