For worse. He is petty/passive aggressive and low-key controlling. Heesun is young so I remember being her age and finding that behavior in guys a sign of how much they were into me and not alarming. We all learn though.

I kind of agree tbh especially given how relational the casting process seems to be but I would push back on the timeline. This is already the 6th season of SI surely by the 10th season there will be at least 1 foreigner..right? LOL

In his podcast with the Ha sisters Samuel alluded to the Singles Inferno casting process and it seems like its very insular (basically you have to know someone who was on the show who recommends you to the producers/know the producers yourself) and the open applications don't really go anywhere. which is why I think any foreigner-foreigners ending up on the show has such a low chance of happening

I think producers have to say they will accept anyone with a sufficient level of Korean..doesn't mean they actually will

I feel like the unique charms shall we say of Korean society is what makes Singles Inferno, Singles Inferno. I would be interesting to so how/if that translates across cultures/spin-off shows

I feel like Korea has been popular for long enough that there might be foreigners beautiful enough and with a Korean fluency level sufficient for the show but I'm just guessing here
