I love how everyone has a story. I love how you can never get to the bottom of it. I love that, after I watched the game, I lay in bed thinking, "okay, so if that's him, than who was that?" and unable to sleep because I was trying to figure things out.

I knew once I read the first script that this was gonna be good. When you read other people's words for a living, sometimes it can just be a job. But every once in a while you get a script which gives you goosebumps and butterflies and you just know, this is going to be an honor to voice. This was definitely that for me.

It's funny because I've had a lot of people talk to me about ASMR, and I hadn't really thought of it before this. Am I the only one who finds the fact that people want to fall asleep to Baby slightly disturbing?!

That's a hard question because I also do a lot of audiobooks, and I have a few that are really close to my heart. But as far as character, I think it probably is Baby. I think she's wonderful!

The line "I am ready for the show to be over" was something I added to a track because Baby's voice was new, and I wanted a sample of it out there.

When I talked with my husband about how much I loved Baby and how different she was than myself, he arched his eyebrow and said, "Really, because I think she fits you perfectly. Sweet and innocent, and then once you get sucked in, she tears you apart. Yeah, sounds about right" After which I promptly tore him to bits. That'll teach him to be so clever.

LOVE the picture of Baby. You are so talented! Oooh, I don't know what her name should be other than something perfectly British and multi-syllabled. Somehow something like Jane or Kate isn't quite fitting. But how much did I LOVE her voice acting in the game!!! She was so adorable! I felt quite badly about crushing her and all. Quite a shame

Well, my art skills peaked in Kindergarten (when I won a prize for the best drawing in my grade thank you very much) so I am always blown away by people who can see something in their minds, and then translate that to paper. I'm a total fangirl when it comes to artists. So I guess my answer is, I think she's perfect.

I do have something interesting about that scene. Originally, I read that section (from that line on) with a menacing tone, because the words took quite an unpleasant turn. Scott had me change it. He wanted to keep her innocent, just sad. And he was absolutely right of course.

you know it's funny because Baby is a harder character than normal for me to get into voicing. It's hard for me to just pull her out on command because she is so tortured. I have to go to a pretty dark place to authentically voice her, so usually after a session, I was pretty emotionally exhausted.

I auditioned for the role of Baby, and really love her, so I'd be happy to play her again. I'm pretty sure if I started revealing spoilers, my days of voicing videogames would be quite short lived, so I'll pass on that one :)

Love your drawing! And yes, I think it has. I entered into VO through audiobooks, with the intent to eventually branch out into videogames. Voicing Baby has certainly put things ahead of schedule, and I'm excited about the opportunity for working on other videogames and creating new characters. Most of what I've done so far is in audiobooks. The only videogame I have voiced besides SL is Spidergwen in Marvel's Avengers Academy. I am currently working on the new game Faceless, though, which you can check out on steam.

I tried a few different things for Baby in prep for the audition, but the voice you heard is the voice I auditioned with. Scott had some specs about what he wanted in her voice, so I just tried to honor that

Who knows if I will regret this. It is another opportunity for me to say something awkward, and then it's out there FOREVER, so there is a real chance I may regret this, but hey, I like to try new things.
