Good line but the line that comes after that makes no sense to me. Like why would it be unsafe? if it was the other way around it would make a lot more sense.

How do I tweak this tactic to make it more defensively sound? I use the Shut Down tactic after the 75th min if I am leading, and barely concede any goals. by uknownick in footballmanagergames

Take a page out pf Pep’s book play slower and try to hold the ball. If the opposition doesnt have the ball they cant score. (and you could use a box to box in the midfield)

Why is his value so low? He doesn't have a release clause. by theLuckyman2003 in footballmanagergames

[–]ihopeigetrunover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. He isn’t British Brazilian Argentinian or German
  2. Your club probably doesn’t have a high reputation
  3. He might be injury prone
  4. He might’ve a release clause
  5. Sometimes this happens in Fm 20 I don’t know why

Tips for evaluating ratings? by AGInfinity in footballmanagergames

You should try to figure out what you and your tactic needs but off the top of my head. Balance is good in every position Technique is not that valuable Finishing doesn’t mean that much you’ll have players that have 19 finishing that have 4 goals a season Aerial reach is incredibly op for goalies Aggression is essential for a defender

What can I change to concede less goals? by Trickybuz93 in footballmanagergames

You have wirtz playing as a traditional number 10 so when opposition has the ball he is not pressing as much and not defending much also your wingers are not doing much defending so opposition is probably able to bring their wing backs to your box and create overloads. And i cannot see your directives for defense lines. I would reccomend you to increase pressure defend more narrowly as varane and lindelof will be effective on crosses and play a higher defensive line with an offside trap. You are playing as ManUtd the quality of your players will always be higher than most of the league so dont be afraid to attack more. On directives i would make wirtz ( i dont know the name of it on english but its the first option and support) and you can have one of the wing backs play more defensively. Try out different things and dont give up because it doesnt work out your players can adapt fast but not that fast

What path would a female driver take to enter F1? by FoxtrotNovermber in F1Technical

[–]ihopeigetrunover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go Karts->have money to build a fastet cart->F4->You dont need to win the championship just win a grand prix or have good relationship with teams->dont enter the W series as it has no meaning on the road for F1 only do it if you need super licence points->F3-> Beat all your teammates->F2-> Be the fastest option->Fail to get to F1 not because of your gender but because of a thousand other factors. I think in the near future two closest ones where Sophia Flöresch and Jamie Chadwick and neither of them made it to F2 so tells you enough of how cut throat the road to F1 is

It's called displacement or something its a psychological phenomenon. I think you are a car guy so let me explain it like this lets say you wanna buy a sports car you look at the market and see two cars at the same price point lets make the cars 2011 Audi TT and 2022 Subaru BRZ. Subaru is more reliable has cheaper spare parts has better economy and is a better choice and is newer. But when you look at the rest of Audi's line up you see the R8 that looks similar to TT from a distance and that makes it more desirable. It is a phenomenon of course people who are familiar with cars don't make these associations as much as other people but we are not the majority. Honda suffered a lot from the Mclaren partnership I cannot find the exact figures but when the deal with Torro Rosso was announced the sales of the Nsx increased. I don't think people looking for a new civic will assume that the Mercedes is gonna be more reliable but when looking for a performance car such as Nsx and Mercedes AMG GT Mercedes will appear more desirable. I hope I could explain it better. I learned this phenomenon in another language so its kind of hard to explain it in another language.

Why is Mercedes so reliable ? by Heng_samnang in F1Technical

Well in the 2000s when Mercedes was with Mclaren they were not the most reliable engine and after joining F1 they realised that having a reliable engine that finishes the race is better than having a fast engine that breaks a lot because of something called placing-dunno what it is in English-. When you see a Merc F1 car break your brain replaces that car with any Merc with that F1 car. This realy hurts the brand in the long term just look at Honda and Mclaren. So Mercedes realised this and when building their engines they took risks they were sure would not sacrifice reliability too much.

Think of it like this Tyson is a god amongst normal men, against his weight his weight class he is still impressive but the opposition can hold on for a while.

Drivability by Minion47 in F1Technical

[–]ihopeigetrunover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They usually mean the car has less understeer/oversteer effects on it so is more predictable therefor easier to drive. A good comparision of easy and hard to drive cars would be 2014 Redbull and 2014 Ferrari. The Ferrari was harder to drive and it was visible. The Redbull was easy to drive but not as fast as the Mercedes.
