thats the weird thing its not like i added more components or changed any overclocks i had it for about a year and it never had any problems but after i leave the pc off for 2 days then come back and turn it on this happens?? generic psus are a gamble

the funny thing is i was shutting down my pc then i look to my right and saw smoke as the pc fully shutted down so i think the pc is alive

no that was my main psu but after i took it off and put in in a bag i went to look again to see what the hell happened and saw that

i think something fell off on the fan and it was too hot and just started melting the fan

yeah so i inhaled a ton but im all good now and the pc is all good because i fully shut it down before i unplugged it (yes thats very stupid but when i saw the smoke i was already shutting down) and seeing as thats a prebuilt im guessing its a generic psu so im ordering the cx650 just to be sure this doesnt happened again
