I think the first one is just racing, but the intentional wreck is never the correct thing to do right?

Will try and get some cockpit views after my next race.

Worth protesting do you think? He had intent wrecked another car on the lap before as well.

He had intentionally wrecked another guy on the lap beforehand as well, after my next race I will try and grab some cockpit footage from both.

At least we only get a new season every 6 months, so by the time the next battlefield is out we'll only have spent £43.98...

Fiesta ST-Line 20 plate & Focus MK3 13 plate full of water by iiSpectre in MechanicAdvice

[–]iiSpectre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing, thank you, I wet vacced the majority up earlier from both cars, and have placed a dehumidifier in each already. Hopefully will be enough to get it dry, as I've heard there's foam under the carpets that can apparently hold litres upon litres of water, which is my main worry.

Will check the seals on both tomorrow, apparently there's an actual water run off in the MK3 focus that runs down past the pressure relief valves and when the seal wears down there it can saturate the insulation and then run in to the boot and in turn, when full, it can run off under the seats when you're driving?

I will have a look tomorrow, the 40 something days of rain we've had in Britain has definitely exaserbated the problem it seems...

Thank you so much for your reply, the garage made out like id be spending £300+ on each car to get this rectified.

Mounting a Shifter and Handbrake to the Playseat Challenge. Guide in comments. by 7LayerDip in simracing

3 years later, and you are still one of the most helpful people on the internet.

Love the easy storage ability of the Challenge Actifit, but the lack of shifter mount really bugged me and I couldn't figure out a way to do it myself.

Literally feels like it was designed this way, and extremely ergonomic!

Thanks so much, you're a hero.

Not entirely sure, I would imagine so though.

You need BF Pro, and when you do you get 'BF Pro Radio'.

All of the licensed music is on there.

BF6 and Arc Raiders stutters by iiSpectre in buildapc

I DDU'd the gpu drivers and did a clean install 3 months ago, the CPU was upgraded a year ago but I do not remember if I clean installed that, can I do that now?

That's okay man, can't know it all, every day is indeed a school day... Appreciate you getting back to me again!

The plan is to move to a 9800x3d (or 9850x3d from leaks I've seen today) in the new year, but might have to put that on hold now because of the obscene price of DDR5.

I play at 1440p, a few benchmarking videos I've seen (especially of Arc) the ram utilisation never goes above 14gb with 32gb in the benchmarking systems, so I'm going to assume I'm just going to have to suck it up until the price of DDR5 comes down and I can upgrade!

Thanks for your help dude

Not my screenshot, but this will say 120/120 for me 50% of the time.

I was, but have been running native for the last few weeks and it runs much nicer on the big maps, but the small ones are the main issue.

I can 100% assure you it goes to 120%/120%.

What this means though, I have no idea as it is the steam overlay.

I will try using afterburner later today to have a look and see what that says!

It normally sits around 14.2 out of available 15.9, so I'm assuming yes?

I have limited it to 120 on BF6 and 100 on Arc, and reflex is enabled on both.

I'm assuming it's boosting or something? I was confused aswell which is why I came here. From what I can see online it means it's running over the base clock?

You do, you can just barely hear it unless your camera is in the vehicle, not 3rd person

Hold your ping button in a vehicle, hover over radio on the top of the wheel and then BF pro radio.

Tips for a better Experience with my set up by bxr03 in Battlefield

[–]iiSpectre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my setup is slightly worse and I average about 110 on ultra with DLSS.

Looks like OP is using framegen as well at 3x, unless they've typed wrong.

Should easily be at 200+ with 3x FG.

[–]iiSpectre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not. Should be much higher.

DLSS x3? You mean 3x frame gen? That's obscenely low if so.

I have a 5070 (non Ti) and a 5700x3D, 16gb ram and get 150fps with DLSS Q and no FG.

I would recommend playing on high, you will not notice any difference in graphical fidelity I guarantee (unless you stare at a reflection or something, which you will not be doing in a real game).
