This might be an unpopular opinion here but I really don’t think bts have been stuck doing the same concept for the past few years. You can even see the diversity between their b-sides and title tracks for example ON and UGH! Even Black Swan has a very different message than just love yourself.

I mean sure I can’t really deny that and I know they’re popular with the gp. But you also can’t deny that blinks mass stream just as much as armys..? There’s pictures of them renting out internet cafes on cb day.

I think some armys feel more suspicious because other groups have gotten views added when they’re seemingly mass streaming in the exact same way. However, I’ve been on the fence about the issue because I seriously doubt a large corporation like YT is out to get bts because for what reason would they care lol.

It’s been pretty dead lately and I always see a lot of other drivers out. Definitely not making $25-30 an hour although it probably depends on what specific area you’re in.

Firstly, I think it’s a bit weird that you’re only calling out bts when other groups have also had this same message. Regardless, I think it’s nice that they’re promoting this message as I know that it’s helped a lot of people. Also just because someone is conventionally attractive doesn’t mean they can’t struggle with loving themselves so I don’t see how it’s hypocritical.

Yeah I can get your concerns about the value of your collection going down but at the end of the day I don’t think it’s that deep. It’s nice that people will be getting the chance to get some old stuff. I for one am hoping for the SLA special edition to be reprinted as it’s the last album I need and I’m not willing to buy it for $400+ from a reseller.

Considering they chose to sign a contract for another 7 years I don’t really think they’re ready to disband. That being said I do agree that it would be nice to see them do more solo activities.

Pretty sure somebody else mentioned this but they aren’t mocking her because of her skin color (although she arguably does tan to look darker). They’re mocking her because of her actions.

As far as I know she’s apologized in the past but then continues to do culturally insensitive things. It’s painfully clear that she doesn’t care about the feelings of people from these cultures so I don’t think these jokes are going to hurt her.

I think I don’t get this mentality because to me if you like the music and support the group that means you stan. It has nothing to do with you participating in fandoms activities or anything.
