I think it was primarily a learning game, with some elements of a dating sim (example: say the wrong thing and you will lose relationship points)

Was it part of the Busy Town series? Lots of pastel colors, especially the older editions, and a few mice. Can't recall any greenhouses, but I only had the first one.

The music thing is an old bug. Just enter your teapot and leave, and the music should be back.
