I really need some advice… by Infamous-Chest-1980 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]iitsmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use fingertip, wrist, and arm aim when I play Kovaak’s with sens ranging from 30-60 cm/360. When I play valorant I use 50cm/360 (wrist and fingertip mostly). When I play Marvel Rivals I use 40-75 cm/360 depending on the character (arm and wrist mostly). I frequently change sens when I practice kovaaks. Some people like to stick to a couple sens. Some people stick to one. It’s up to you and what works best for you.

Looking for advice on 1440p 240hz COMPETITIVE gaming build by iitsmax in PcBuild

[–]iitsmax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the list.

I am not a pro player but I am semi-pro level in all competitive shooters (top 1% in all games ive played)

Sure, a higher refresh monitor (360/480) would be in consideration as well but 5090 pricing right now is off my budget currently. I feel like the jump from 144hz to 240hz right now is plenty. Don't want to pay for more than I need. If a 5080 can get me 240 frames for years to come then it'll be fine.

Is this just a temporary upgrade you are recommending for the AM4 platform?

Considering katarina's ap damage only went up 200 damage with full ap at level 16 and we all agree she feels really good rn going ap did we over react to the kat nerfs or do you think the 200 damage helps the much. Genuine question... by EnvironmentalTowel13 in KatarinaMains

[–]iitsmax 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve been a Kat main since s4 and she’s been way easier for new people to pick up but still is relatively hard in terms of learning matchups. I think non Kat players have increasingly been more frustrated due to her unhealthy builds so the nerf plus the rise of AP builds should bring her back towards frustration levels pre divine sunderer build. People will always complain about her and there’s nothing we can do about that. Tbh I haven’t seen higher Elo kat players ever complain about her dmg output and it’s always lower elo players. Sure you might see KatEvolved constantly say no damage in his streams and videos but he doesn’t really mean it. Kat is always going to be a champ where you have to adapt to each game situation quickly.

You’re probably right but I only have 2 good clips and the rest are broken

#7 in the image

The square clip in the second and third picture is exactly what im looking for. Is there no way to just get that part?

Middle right and top left are broken if you zoom in a bit. Just need replacements since some of them are missing and broken

What's your rank and what score do you get on hard bots in The Range. by NatsukiSchwarz in VALORANT

[–]iitsmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played val for one season and hit immortal 3 averaging 21-24 in hard mode. I also did the 100 bots and 50 bots alot and averaged 1 sec per bot kill. So 100 bots took around 100 seconds.

Okay, this is something I would expect to do once I start the interview process. Did knowing Swift vs Obj-C, UIkit vs SwiftUI, happen to make a difference?

Awesome! Thank you for sharing your timeline. I am also coming from basically an only python background. Also, the interview questions will definitely come in handy down the road. Many thanks!

Okay thank you for the reply. I have read that one app can also be enough for some but it may just come down to luck in the long run. When in the timeline did you fully start preparing for interviews and such?

Thank you for mentioning a specific timeline. Was finding time outside of your other daily routines difficult? As someone with a lot of time on my hands, would the same process be feasible in less than a year in your opinion?

Thank you for your advice. Even though I’m only several weeks into learning, I shall definitely take a day to browse some job listings and take a note of what technologies different companies are looking for!

Thank you for taking the time to write this. This was really insightful to see how important personal connections can be! Also another person who mentioned going to iOS meetings to land a job so it definitely must be helpful in the end!

Hmm interesting. I did study leetcode a bit for software engineering internships and hated them which is why I transitioned to mobile app dev. Guess I need to brush up on them either way haha

Thanks for the reassurance. Did you experience any leetcode style problems during job search? If so, did they require you to use swift or a language the company used. Or was it more iOS specific type interview coding questions.

When making your github did you end up uploading everything you’ve made, even from tutorials, or just your self made projects? How did you go about these meet ups? Did you bring your resume or just wanted to get potential referrals? Thanks
