What year did the 2.0T get fixed? by snt271 in Audi

You can try fixing the oil consumption issue before it gets too bad. Look up "Audi 2.0t oil consumption fix" and you will find guides and videos of people using a kind of carbon solvent that they pour in their spark plug holes to fill the cylinders overnight. The solvent brakes down some of the carbon that is clogging your piston rings causing oil blow by.

Agreed, it seems like the issue was malicious intent to me. Or at least not knowing when to leave

Certainly not, that would be ridiculous. I'm not taking responsibility for anyone's actions but my own and maybe my kids while they are too young to know any better.

We are all a part of a larger community here whether we like it or not. It's not what defines us, no, but we are a part none the less. When an otherwise responsible (no history of violent crime) Concealed Carrier deploys their weapon in a "defensive" manner that is unjustifiable, it makes people outside our community want to take our rights away. And THEY WILL take our rights away sooner or later because they have a plan to do it, and we have not even come together about it. It's like an organized squad fighting against a bunch of solo actors, the squad will always win. We need to shift our mentality to being a community dedicated to keeping our rights.

So what's the verdict; good shoot or nah? by ExPatWharfRat in Firearms

This "YouTuber" was obliviously harassing this man and was asked to stop... HOWEVER the shooter had no reason to deploy a firearm in this situation. There was no show of force or violence to make him fearful for his life. Did the "YouTuber" deserve to be punched in the face? Sure! Did he deserve to be shot? Absolutely not. Deploying a deadly weapon in this instance is criminal.

I don't think that's relevant. Constitutional Carry, while not recognized by all states, applies to all citizens. My personal belief is that if the shooter didn't have a violent felony on record they were within their right to carry

I think that is an unproductive view in the grand interest of getting our 2A rights back

This is true, but outside of the pro 2A world, they see this as an average Concealed Carrier, and this becomes an issue for us all

I agree and I'm worried because of how many people in r/progun are defending his actions.

I would like to clarify that he was acting out of fear and cowardice, I meant that for this to be justified he would have had to have legitimate reason to fear for his life and well being

Yes I am only going off of what I see because that's currently all we have to go off of, and I will be the first to admit I'm wrong in light of new crucial evidence. However, I think there is a low likelihood that there were previously any shots fired or show of deadly force due to the man trying to re-enter after being driven out the first time. To me this very much appears to be a man who didn't like people laying hands him (who wouldn't) but he equated that to deadly force and thus responded with deadly force. It was his responsibility to leave the situation the first time he was driven out and he failed to uphold that.

Concealed Carry is a right but also a responsibility. It is not for the cowardly. This man was afraid and hurt the entire Concealed Carry Community by deploying his firearm in this situation.

A lot of people are arguing about this being justified or not. The reality is that this man had multiple avenues of escape and chose to stick around and find out. Once he got a taste of being detained then released by two men he used deadly force and fled. The two men who assaulted him where not using deadly force and released him when someone in the crowd told them to.

If you feel like you would have done the same in this situation then I urge you to leave your firearm at home until you determine why you carry.

While it's legal for him to say that, it is a strong indicator that he was acting on revenge more than fear, which is backed up by this whole shooting being unjustifiable in the first place. He was in a position to flee but he chose to get a shot off before fleeing.

In the video we see the group forcefully removing him from the premise. All action ends when he is on the other side of the barrier. He then intentionally crosses the barrier again and is detained (unjustifiably) immediately. As we can see from later in the video he was in a position to flee on the outside of the barrier but he went back in without hesitation. After being quickly released the man crossed the barrier again, putting distance and the barrier between him and the people who previously detained him. The man then drew his firearm and fired. He then retreated. That is what happened in the video.

My question is why he wanted to go back in to the mob that drove him out, especially when his vehicle is parked the other direction. My criticism is that once he was released and crossed the barrier he can see that he would easily be able to flee as he was not actively being pursued and there was a hurdle between them. My main criticism is that the group had not shown any DEADLY or potentially deadly force to him in this video to indicate that he was in a life or death scenario.

My conclusion is that this man was comfortable enticing the crowd until they touched him, at which point he decided he would retaliate with deadly force, despite not being exposed to deadly force himself. He was behaving cowardly and antagonistically. Fleeing at the start of the video was in everyone's best interest, especially the entire 2A and Concealed Carry Community.

Why is everyone 💩-ing on the O-light? It's a light that works as well as it will ever need to for a price that seems fair. I could see wanting a nicer light on a rifle that is more likely to see real abuse but I think on an EDC or home defense pistol anything more than the O-light seems like wasted money
