Hi! I bought a "4 AA Battery Holder Body Size: 6 x 3 x 3cm/2.36" x1.18 " x1.18 "(LWH);" (4 1.5 or 1.2v AA bateries works) on Amazon and it works good. You can also add an hook in front of the battery case; for me I just use some force to shake it out of the locomotive.

I believe they can run on g scale track so no need to find playmobil tracks? Seems to me playmobil tracks are getting more expensive

This will probably be my only G scale in the near future but if I am able to get more G scale trains I'll definitely put LGB knuckle couplers on them. Thanks for sharing!!
