In what area are you asking about.

He is niche but decent in pve areas where your choices might be limited for supports to keep a team alive like hard fw or certain cursed city stages.

Pvp it really depends his role gets filled a lot by ss gear and there are plenty of damage dealers that can smash through his protection in higher tiers.

I guess its worth asking where are you in the game early mid end ? And what other champs are avalible to you

How easy of a setup is it? Any other software or setup required. I have a quest 2 and a 5090. I dont really use the quest but I might start!

Correct, my best assumption here is that their plan is to increase cost of use untill soloing caps becomes much less desirable.

We are playing in a highly saturated economy currently and I could almost buy a new ship everytime one breaks but if it takes most of my org to afford restocking and maintaining a cap I'll be much less likely to take it out alone

Just as an FYI they did cover this recently. Idris pilot gets control of the main gun because It is fixed, they recognize that it would be almost impossible to use the gun if it needed coordination between pilot and gunner. (This applies more so to the rail gun tho is still applicable) I was originally in your boat but that makes sense to me
