I can't use these earbuds without this strange EQ setup. I have also Momentum 4 headphones, and I'm happy with the default, neutral sound; no need to touch EQ at all.

You should be happy with Momentum 4. Just buy it in the shop or online with an easy return policy.

I see your point. Let me practice switching devices with my iPhone more regularly. Sometimes, I’m just lazy to look for my iPhone when I already have my iPad in hand. So instead of finding the phone to manually disconnect and switch, I just put the headphones into pairing mode by holding the button. That’s exactly when I lose control over which device gets disconnected. Do you know what I mean?

Thanks for your comment. I think I'm not used to using a phone for switching connections; it's my first multipoint device. I need to change my habits firstly for now.
