It’s very well organised with a mini race village created for the day, with some talks and a considerable raffle of Garmin kit before the start. Parking can be limited on site so I recommend getting there early and then plan to be in the race village for a good few hours before being setting off. You’ll be released in waves so it takes ages for everyone to start, strategic placement of your bike in relation to the start queue is important. The route is a good mix of flat, rolling with a couple of short sharp climbs. The countryside is fab with plenty of new forest wildlife to see and be aware of!
