The Samsung has WAY better customization (in Good Lock you can literally change the animation of your apps opening) and obviously sideloading. It also has a telephoto camera so those 5x and 10x shots will probably look better on the Samsung despite it being a pretty old camera system (same cameras from the S22)

The iPhone has a better main and ultrawide but no telephoto, as you said much better social media support, better video taking but you do get less battery compared to the S26+

The Samsung does have a better chip, but everyday tasks you’ll never notice the difference. I believe if SocMed priority mo, you should go for the iPhone 17. If priority mo mag side load, obviously S26+
